FAQ
What music apps can I use with Tunemark?
Tunemark works with most Android music apps as long as they show the currently playing song in a notification. We have tested it with popular apps such as Spotify and Apple Music. And it doesn't have to be just music, some people are using it to mark parts of audiobooks, for example.
Why does Tunemark need permission to read my notifications?
Tunemark gets the information on the currently playing song by reading it from the notification shown by the app playing the music. To enable this, you need to grant Tunemark the permission to access that information.
Tunemark will not access any content in the notifications other than information about the currently playing media. More information in our privacy policy.
Will there be an iOS version of Tunemark?
Unfortunately, no. At the moment, iOS doesn't provide a method to access the currently playing media from any app like Android does.
